WAYSCloud is launching meil.no, a Norwegian productivity suite for private users, small teams and everyday digital collaboration.
meil.no brings together email, calendar, contacts, file uploads, document integration, live editing in the browser and video meetings in one service. The platform is built and operated in Norway by WAYSCloud, with a focus on privacy, portability and reduced dependency on large global platform ecosystems.
The service is designed without advertising, tracking or profiling. For users, this means that ordinary digital activity such as sending email, managing contacts, creating calendar events, sharing files or inviting others to meetings is not used as part of an advertising-based business model.
The basic version of meil.no is free. This is made possible because meil.no is part of a broader WAYSCloud Workspace platform aimed at businesses, organizations and professional environments that require more storage, project functionality, analysis, collaboration features and administrative controls.
Users who need additional storage or extended functionality can upgrade, but the free version is intended to provide a real and usable Norwegian alternative for everyday email and productivity needs.
WAYSCloud is also preparing migration support for existing email, calendar and contact data, making it easier for users to move from current providers without turning migration into a technical project.
The launch of meil.no marks an important step in WAYSCloud’s broader work to build European and Nordic digital infrastructure based on transparency, open standards and long-term user control.
